The Company holds 21 accepted water licence applications in 12 areas throughout the Province of British Columbia, representing over 650 megawatts of potential energy capacity.
Syntaris Power is also exploring projects utilising pump storage technology, an excellent source of clean, renewable energy that complements intermittent generation sources.
Syntaris focuses on developing sustainable energy projects in British Columbia that are relatively close to the power grid. By clustering projects in localised areas, Syntaris captures economies of scale with lower infrastructure and production costs, leaving a minimal footprint on the environment. Upon successful development, Syntaris projects are intended to become an integral part of British Columbia’s long-term energy strategy with the potential to bring socio-economic benefits to First Nations and local communities.
