Projects Overview

Syntaris Power is in the process of acquiring one of the most impressive hydropower development portfolios in the industry. The company has applied for forty-two applications on rivers or creeks in British Columbia representing about 500 Megawatts of potential energy. This includes two core projects: the Culliton Creek Project and Kinskuch Hydro Project. The Culliton Creek Project was awarded an Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA) from BC Hydro in March 2010.  These two projects have an estimated total capacity of approximately 91 Megawatts of electrical power.

Syntaris Power is also exploring projects utilizing geothermal and biomass technologies. Both are excellent sources of clean, green, renewable energy.

Syntaris focuses on developing sustainable energy projects in British Columbia that are relatively close to the power grid in British Columbia. By clustering our projects in a localized area, Syntaris can capture economies of scale with lower infrastructure and production costs leaving a minimal footprint on the environment. We believe that upon successful development, Syntaris projects will become an integral part of British Columbia’s long-term energy strategy with the potential to bring socio-economic benefits to First Nations and local communities.
