Development Projects

Syntaris Power has secured a number of viable hydro projects throughout the province of British Columbia.

These are located near BC Hydro’s Revelstoke and Mica Dams, on the upper Columbia River, with a combined total of 10 accepted water license applications totaling over 100 MW.

The projects may be developed in clusters that share a single transmission line, reducing overall construction costs.

Wood

The Wood Cluster contains 3 accepted water license applications. The projects are estimated to have a generation capacity of approximately 65 MW with an estimated annual electricity generation of approximately 224 GWh of energy. These projects are located up the Wood Arm of Kinbasket Lake, to the northeast of the Mica Dam.

Revelstoke-Mica

The Revelstoke-Mica Cluster contains 7 accepted water license applications. The projects are estimated to have a generation capacity of approximately 41 MW with an estimated annual electricity generation of approximately 164 GWh of energy. These projects are located in the Revelstoke Valley between Revelstoke and the Mica Dam.
