Culliton Creek
Culliton Creek is located approximately 20 km north of Squamish. Culliton Creek will generateĀ a total estimated capacity of 15 MW of power.
| Project Documents |
A high elevation intake will divert flow from Culliton Creek into a buried penstock leading to a single powerhouse. Flows from the powerhouse will be returned to the creek upstream of the Highway 99 bridge crossing. A new transmission line* will be constructed from the project powerhouse for tie-in at the existing BC Hydro line along the Paradise Valley Road.
*Please note that there are other transmission lines under consideration that have a lower impact than the northern line displayed. We expect to be able to finalize a transmission line in Summer 2010.
