Core Projects
Syntaris Power submitted three core project proposals on November 25, 2008 to the BC Hydro Clean Call for Power. Of these projects, one (the Culliton Creek Project) was awarded an Energy Purchase Agreement (EPA) from BC Hydro in March 2010. The Kinskuch Hydro Project is still considered a core project and will be potentially submitted for a future BC Hydro Clean Call. These two projects have an estimated total capacity of approximately 91 Megawatts of electrical power and offer easy access to the existing power transmission grid.
Kinskuch River
The Kinskuch River Project will generate a total estimated capacity of 76 MW in the coastal region of northern B.C.
Culliton Creek
Culliton Creek is located approxmately 20 km north of Squamish. Culliton Creek will generate a total estimated capacity of 15 MW.
